Biscotto Cegliese (U' Piscquett'l) is a traditional peasant product from Ceglie Messapica, in Puglia. A sweet made with almond paste and cherry jam. With a light lemon scent, it is carefully processed and packaged by hand, 100% natural, gluten-free and lactose-free. Legend has it that these biscuits were prepared and served by peasant families during wedding receptions or important occasions and also used as wedding favors. They are excellent when paired with rosolio or sweet wines. The recyclable paper packaging is 200g or 400g.
INGREDIENTS: Apulian almonds (55%), Apulian honey (14%), cherry puree (10%), Apulian viscelata (4%), sugar (8%), eggs (8%), natural flavours (1%).
