Beer: Everyone's Crazy About This "Fermented" One

Craft beer is a real passion in Italy, where there are more and more small breweries that produce quality beers, with selected ingredients and traditional production techniques . This trend began in the 90s, and has led to the birth of over 7,000 craft breweries in Italy, spread across all regions and producing a wide range of beers, from classic European styles to innovative and experimental beers .

Craftsmanship marries very well with sustainable production . Many of these breweries in fact use local ingredients and adopt environmentally friendly production methods. An example of this trend in recent years is the production of beer from bread and pasta scraps , with a truly unique and characteristic flavor.

Here are some tips I want to give you to recognize a craft beer:
- it is produced in small batches , by brewers who personally follow the entire production process
- only quality ingredients are used, written legibly on the label
- its flavor is typical and inimitable and can vary depending on the style and ingredients used.

In 1814 in London, a beer tank at the Meux & Co. brewery broke, spilling 1.47 million litres of beer into the street below, literally flooding the suburb of St. Giles and causing damage... but also a lot of fun. It is said that the people who flocked to the site enjoyed swimming in the beer and that some even dived to collect the beer that floated on the surface.
