November 29th will be Black Friday, but this year I chose not to participate with discounts and promotions. Instead, I decided to sign the zeroFriday Manifesto.

The zeroFriday Manifesto is an initiative launched by zeroCO2 to counter the unbridled consumerism of Black Friday . An invitation for companies and consumers to reflect on their choices, promoting responsible and sustainable consumption.
The goal is to raise awareness of the impact our choices have on the planet.

Unbridled consumerism is destroying our planet: forests are burning, seas are filling up with plastic and the excessive amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is changing the Earth's climate in an alarming way.

It's time to change course. It's time for companies and consumers to be more aware.
Before making a purchase, I ask you to ask yourself a few simple questions:
Do I really need it? Is it environmentally friendly? Is it worker friendly? Is it cruelty-free? Will it be recyclable?

I would like to live on a planet where there is no need to reforest, where the seas are not full of plastic, where the air in cities is not saturated with fine dust, where we do not spend billions to go to Mars, but to rebuild a Planet that is becoming extinct. And you?

It's all possible, but a lot depends on our choices.
