    Quality is KNOWLEDGE

    All manufacturing companies have been screened based on their experience, even in the case of young startups like mine. After years as a responsible and careful consumer, as well as a careful "reader" of labels, I want to give my contribution and my personal "culture" to those who want to approach the world of sustainability. Furthermore, given the ecological transition to which all Italian companies will have to respond from 2028, and to move forward, with the future goal of making ZiaCris a Benefit Company , I also recently attended a course promoted by the Emilia Romagna Region on the drafting of Sustainability Reports and GRI-2016 Reporting Principles.

    Quality is BIODIVERSITY

    There is no agriculture or sustainable production that does not take into account the biodiversity of the territory in which it operates. If we truly care about the future of future generations, we must at all costs preserve this invaluable treasure of species and genetics that are the DNA of our lands and our roots. In Italy alone, we have more than 200 wild plants and foods at risk of extinction, due to intensive agriculture and livestock farming that threaten ecosystems.

    Organic farming is a system of agricultural production that excludes the use of synthetic chemicals, such as pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers. Unlike intensive cultivation, it is based on the use of natural techniques, such as crop rotation, green manure and composting, to improve soil fertility and plant health.

    Regenerative agriculture is an agricultural approach that goes beyond organic farming, with the aim of restoring soil health and the natural balance of ecosystems. In addition to organic farming, practices include soil cover, crop diversification, and the inclusion of grazing animals.

    Quality is RESPONSIBILITY, NOT JUST ENVIRONMENTAL

    The commitment of ZiaCris and the producers is to carry out all-round sustainability projects . Environmental well-being is closely linked to the economic and social well-being of the territory, because if one of the three factors is missing, the other two are inevitably affected. For this reason, great attention is paid to the selection of producers based on their environmental impact and how their footprint brings value inside and outside the company.

    In fact, ZiaCris has been collaborating with the environmentalist association Terra! for years, which has been engaged in carrying out investigations into agri-food chains in Italy and in the battle for the approval of more dignified incomes , as well as with entrepreneurial activities born in detention institutions, such as the Lazzarelle coffee roasting company in the women's prison in Naples, Dolci Evasioni in Siracusa and Banda Biscotti in Verbania, supporting their inclusive projects. For about a year, she has also been part of the Collettivo CiRCE, a women's association born in Cilento, which through events, meetings and talks, wants to make women's voices heard and encourage their entrepreneurship and economic emancipation.

    Quality is TRUST

    Behind ZiaCris there is ZiaCris. No Artificial Intelligence. Giving my name to the company is for me a gesture of responsibility and courage of one's ideas not only towards consumers who believe in the project, but also in the business world where the word "sustainability" is not yet considered truly profitable.
