Peperone crusco is a typical product of Basilicata . It is a pepper with an intense red color and a sweet flavor, which once in Lucanian cuisine, is used dried and "scalded" in oil for a few seconds. This makes the vegetable become "crusco", that is, crunchy. This ingredient with such a strong and recognizable flavor, makes the taralli with peperone crusco by Zio Pasquale unique for their simplicity, lightness and fragrance. Try them too, in the 100% recyclable paper package of 280g.
