The hulled lentil is a legume with a bright orange color, a sweet and delicate flavor. Grown in Italy, with traditional and organic methods, in the open field without chemicals, a mechanical process removes the peel from the whole variegated lentil, maintaining all the essential nutrients.
Rich in vitamin B, mineral salts, low fat and lots of fiber, it is also an excellent source of iron and phosphorus. They cook quickly, making them more digestible and suitable for children and the elderly, to make soups, minestrone, creams and veloutés.
