Grown with traditional organic methods, respecting the territory, the whole cicerchie of Perle della Tuscia have an ancient history. They were already used in ancient Egypt to prepare bread, focaccia and soups. Today they are grown in open fields by local farmers in Lazio.
Rich in vitamins, proteins, fibre, calcium and phosphorus, they are perfect for soups, cream soups, purees and delicious side dishes.
Soak them for at least a day, or even two. They will be ready in about 60-90 minutes, but it is really worth it. I recommend you enjoy this wonderful legume simply, adding just a pinch of salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. The 400g package is also recyclable.
