This organic lentil, similar to the Onano variety, is grown exclusively in the Alta Tuscia Viterbese area, in open fields by local farmers. In ancient times, in Roman times, a gift of lentils between friends meant a wish for good luck. And this special legume is full of it: small but very rich in nutrients and B vitamins, mineral salts, little fat and lots of fiber, not to mention iron and phosphorus.
